Shirodhara

Description of the procedure
Shirodhara (Skt. Shirah-head, dhara-flow) is a special Ayurvedic procedure, during which a thin stream of warm medicinal oil is poured on the forehead into the area of the patient's third eye for a long time. Shirodhara has a powerful stimulating effect on the nervous system, induces the release of neurohormones and generates ecstatic feelings of relaxation and bliss; brings a state similar to a trance, causing a flood of pleasant sensations that deeply relax the farthest corners of the mind and body. Restores brain function, treats insomnia, depression, stress; restores memory, treats diseases of the nose and throat. The procedure has a beneficial effect on the hair and helps to strengthen it.
Duration of the procedure - 60 min

Indications for the procedure
Migraines, memory loss, mental stress, high blood pressure, early graying, hair loss, dandruff, thyroid problems and cardiovascular disease. As a therapeutic procedure, it is used for epilepsy, hypertension, neurasthenia, neurosis, anxiety, Parkinson's disease, psychosomatic disorders, psoriasis, cerebral atrophy, hemiplegia and paraplegia, insomnia, asthma, headaches, addiction to alcohol and drugs.
