Summer is coming to an end!
It means it's time to get ready for winter!
To enjoy the frosts, snow and blizzards as well as the summer sun.
The body needs to be prepared so that it can adapt to everything and live in harmony with the world around it.
Why are there seasonal exacerbations of chronic diseases? Why do depressions, neuroses, and conditions accompanied by panic attacks worsen more often during the cold season? As well as arthritis, manifestations of osteochondrosis, and gastrointestinal diseases begin to be especially disturbing in autumn and winter?
Ayurveda, which considers humans as an integrated system related to the environment, provides an explanation for this.
With the onset of cold weather, the balance of Vata Dosha is disrupted. Its imbalance leads to dry skin and mucous membranes, various cramps, pain in joints and spine, constipation, dyskinesia.
The nervous system suffers the most.
The nervous system is tightly connected to the Vata dosha. Vata dosha is very fast, agile, and gets out of balance more easily than others.
And if the Vata dosha is not balanced in time, it can already create an imbalance in Pitta and Kapha dosha, leading to various diseases. It is estimated that up to 85% of diseases may be caused by a Vata dosha imbalance.
And our modern life just carries a lot that leads Vata dosha into imbalance. This is a rush, lack of daily routine and nutrition, eating on the go (food made from frozen semi-finished products), endless snacks,
a lot of communication, the use of various means of communication. Not to mention the state of chronic stress caused by various causes.
Since Vata dosha is cold, light, and dry in nature, the best treatments to harmonize it are oil massages.
The warm oil removes dryness, improves microcirculation, warms and relaxes muscles, and relieves blockages.
After a course of Ayurvedic massages, sleep improves, anxiety disappears, and panic attacks decrease or disappear altogether.
The number of massages and the composition of the oils are selected by an Ayurvedic medicine specialist based on the individual constitution and specific problems.
These massages are part of the Panchakarma program, an Ayurvedic program for cleansing and balancing all body systems.
This year I am starting to conduct Autumn Panchakarma programs from my home region!
It's August in St. Petersburg.
In Cyprus, it is September.
